I admit. Before hearing about SEO applications and Web promotion business, I was of the opinion that Google was great. I Googled everything from human beings, to images, to news to weird gadgets and completely trusted the search outcomes. Then I learned about SEO software and an entire business dedicated to Web promotion, and my attitudes changed. But even prior to that, having done a bit of reflective musings, I got a feeling that search engines, Google to boot, know far from everything, and share with the users even less than that.

My Google experiences soon convinced me that Flikr is a more comprehensive image data bank, that with the help of Digg I can have great news stories without having to rummage through Google SERPs (rummaging is more fitting than Google search), and people search is better administered by Facebook. It seems that whenever I search for odd things on Google, the results are almost always inaccurate, to put it mildly. Try Googling for SEO programs and other SEO related themes on Google and you are just about ready to give up your patience. I mean, come on, what’s the relationship between SEO applications and online education webpages or Internet casinos? Thanfully, in my distress.

So when news of best seo tools software and the whole field built around it invaded my modest worldview, my qualms about websites popping up on the top of Google grew manifold. Do they deserve to show up on there and whose fault is it, Google or webmasters using SEO products. The moral quandary is huge. Do I quit using my SEO rank checker or do I stop using Google instead? I resolved that I can’t turn away from Google just yet. At least not till the worthy competitor enters the market. For now I will keep juggling between Blekko, Google and the above methods to complement the SERP mess that Google is. And, oh,yes, I will keep using my SEO programs.

Truth is that SEO products is the reason why people like me get some visibility online. intelligent as they are, Google web indexers are not likely to find some little person and index his webpage well. In this regard, I am a firm fan of SEO programs and non-paid search. If it was all about the cash, the multinational businesses would destroy me before I knew it. And there are hundreds of corporations on the Fortune roll! But here is another thing that annoys me and other check backlinks users, I am certain. There are guys who buy SEO applications and use them to sell beddingon casino sites and such. What we have is litter that not only lives on the web but is also highly valued by search engines.

What is the user reaction to this? They search for SEO app reviews and will instead find disconnected SERPs. They get disappointed. So much for the “Internet fairness”. Does this mean that SEO product and service field is harmful? I don’t think so.

The unethical users of SEO programs need to stop bastardizing the Web but it’s like asking hackers to stop hacking. The unfortunate thing about it is that black hat SEOs are abusing the chance to be visible on the Web that is available to the no-name guy like me. For now we just have to tolerate them. One can only hope that Google will put more effort into catching the schemers unethically using SEO programs, and if Google doesn’t, the new search engine will.
